Life Goes On: seven months into 2021

Highlighted scenes from January to July. A tammiesunday squared reel and the BE album.

Ahh yes. Butter and Permission To Dance fighting for the number one spot on Billboard's Hot 100, keep at it BTS! But their live band version of Life Goes On performed in MTV Unplugged hits different and is undeniably exceptional and apt for the (feels and) times.

What made me choose LGO as the bgm for my reel is its flow and arrangement: beginning with a nostalgic and reminiscent tone, even melancholic, and picking up its pace, paving a brighter, more hopeful tomorrow. As with the song, this video shows snippets of how I thrived and blossomed into being; now with a renewed spirit. (I'll be creating a 2nd part at the end of the year~) 3.2.1...

Reel aside, I've had this life philosophy over the past year of being, as my way of coping and moving forward with the situation. It liberated me to a kind of peace and enlightenment: fewer thought bubbles and more acceptance, letting go, and being present. Music, too, became a part of that being and I found the right companion in BTS. <3 :'( *borahae*

BE is one of my album greats from the OG, nevertheless. The album release (November 20) also marks my Army anniversary. :)
