What started as an Instagram blog became a window to cultural discovery and countless opportunities.

한잔 Han jan! (one-shot!) Welcome to 일요일 술Sunday Sul! Pouring you some 미술 misul, handing you a 문화 munhwa missal, featuring K-arts and culture stories. :)

Origins

Inspired by the BTS song Dionysus, the concept of "art is like alcohol" was conceived and referenced from RM's rap. That's how I came about the name idea sunday sul, being the creator tammie sunday, and sul 술 for alcohol and art 미술 (mi-sul). The tag line and 3 key points soon followed, and I just had these ideas for a weekly series on Korean art and/or culture.

Content & Platform

I've closed this Instagram account but this is how it evolved: began as a series of topics I've encountered from my K-art and cultural immersions (tv series: drama & reality, k-pop, purchases, and online events) to outcomes from applications and my involvement in organizations and contributions to these Orgs in promoting everything Korean. ^^
